About six weeks ago, I decided that I wanted to do something different for Thanksgiving. I love spending time with my family, but was also itching to do some exploring. I constantly watch for cheap tickets on Hopper, the best airline app on the market. One morning I got an alert for achingly affordable tickets to Paris over the holiday so I booked them on a whim.

About six weeks ago I finished one of the most incredible books. Now when I tell you what it was about, promise you'll stick with me...

If you've known me for any amount of time, you'll know that donuts are my favorite food. High-end, low-end, I love them all. There are several legendary donut shops in Boston so I did the only responsible thing: planned a day to go to all of them.

Right before I went home for break a few friends and I had dinner at The Elephant Walk--an absolute treat if you're in Boston! For dessert we ordered Iles Flottantes Aux Fraises, better know as the floating island dessert and popularized in the States by Julia Child.

Almost fours years ago I started a project called 101 in 1001. It wasn't quite a to-do list, but not really a bucket list either, but something in between. I created a list of 101 things that I wanted to do in 1001 days.

Well, day 1001 is on Monday. So I put pen to paper (fingers to keyboard?) for round two:

Am I the only one who loves getting a new planner? At the end of each year I scour the internet looking for a new planner and dream of filling up the pages with my life. This year, sadly, I couldn't find one that I loved, so I found an alternative: the bullet journal.

One of the items on my 101 in 1001 list is to read three biographies and I just finished my first one. When I wrote that list item I figured I'd be reading the biographies of Queen Victoria or Winston Churchill or something, but my first one had an unlikely subject: Julia Child.
Oh, hello there, blogosphere! Have you missed me? Because I've missed you.

I feel like I've started every post for the last little bit with an apology for not writing very often! The past few months have been crazy with school, moving, and just life in general. Buuuut, I've finished school and moved back home so I should have way more time to blog! Hooray!

My last night in Baltimore couldn't have been more perfect. Some of my very best friends snagged tickets to Sam Smith's concert for my birthday, so we packed up and headed to the outdoor venue for a night of food, spazzy dancing, and screamed lyrics.

Last week I decided to go to DisneyWorld. Just like that. Well, sort of just like that.

Last week I visited my old stomping grounds in Provo. I cannot believe that it's been over a year since I lived there. Time sure flies, eh?

Don't you hate it when you see your favorite band in concert and they're not as good? Well that's not what this post is about!

This past weekend I drove home to surprise my parents for Easter! This is something that I've wanted to do since I moved from home and it finally happened!

It's the first day of school and I've got this massive break between classes, but no studying that needs to be done (hooray!), so I did what any girl would do: caught up on some blog reading. Mackenzie Horan is a blogger that I follow pretty consistently (she has the preppiest wardrobe I've ever seen and I just love it) and she made this mega bucket list that I've decided to copy. Imitation is the greatest form of flattery, right? :)

So here's the concept: you choose 101 things that you want to do in 1001 days, which is just under 3 years. That should plenty of time, right? If I start today, which I am, I'll have until the end of December 2017 to finish. It's crazy to think that 2018 is just over 1000 days away, isn't it?!
