Walk the Moon Concert
Friday, April 24, 2015
Don't you hate it when you see your favorite band in concert and they're not as good? Well that's not what this post is about!
The sister and I spent the night dancing along to our favorite tunes. All my years of stake dances finally paid off as I danced just spazzy enough to embarrass Jennifer.
The last song was "Shut Up and Dance" which is Jen and mine's unofficial car anthem so, naturally, we were pretty stoked when it came on. We lost all pretenses and upped the spazziness of our dancing.
By the time we made it back home we didn't have voices, our hearing was muffled, and our bodies ached from dancing. So we know we did it right!
Also, the lead singer has some serious tambourine game!
***Sorry for the unsteadiness of the camera: It's hard to dance and film at the same time!
I snagged tickets to Walk the Moon's concert in North Carolina ages ago. We've been listening to them for weeks and practicing our dances moves.
We timed it perfectly and 'missed' the opener. Am I the only one who doesn't really care for openers? Either way, we missed them but got there in time for the main event. Walk the Moon is amazing live! And the lighting design for their show is out of this world.
