Yesterday was the last day of my internship, which was bittersweet. Today, to help get me back in the normal routine, I decided to go on campus and run some errands. Per usual, I tried calling Mama Lo while I was walking between buildings. She was at lunch (good excuse? Jury's still out.) and asked me just to text her. The following conversation commenced:

Me: MA! I'm walking across campus!
Mama Lo: And how does it feel?
Me: You know when Harry Potter finds the right wand?
Mama Lo: Is there a gentle breeze and a light shining gently on your angelic face?
Me: Yes and a hush if falling over everyone around me
Mama Lo: I can feel it from here

I have the best mother ever...ever.
