Oxford (part 4)
Monday, June 30, 2014Part 4! I promise these posts will not go on forever :) After I decided to go to Oxford I knew that I wanted to go punting. Punting is quintessentially English. It consists of a long shallow boat and one massively long pole. Someone stands on the back of the boat and uses the pole to push along the bottom of the river, propelling the boat along. When I got to Oxford I was excited to see that punting was planned into our schedule. It was so fun! I didn't actually do the punting because I didn't want to fall in, but just riding in the boat was amazing!
