I've been itching to find a new craft and have settled on....knitting!
My grandmother is the queen of knitters, so it's fitting that I should look to inherit the crown :) While she can knit a tapestry depicting the history of King Arthur and the Round Table, I thought I would start small, like a scarf. Too cliche?

I really love this scarf. I found on Pinterest. Surprised? Neither am I. This pattern looks kind of complicated though so I might do variation on a theme here. This weekend is General Conference so we all know I'm going to be doing in between sessions! I've bought some delicious hunter green yarn and can't wait to get started!
Any suggestions on tutorials or patterns? Sadly, I don't live close enough to have Grandma teach me how to knit.
In other news, I had a nephew born this week! He is perfect, adorable, and has the cutest cheeks this earth has ever seen so there's probably a baby blanket in my future :)
