You may be thinking that I am about to divulge all the secrets of my love life based on the title of this post, but, before you get too excited, let me just say that you will be sorely disappointed.

Yesterday at work some co-workers and I decided to delve in the philosophical realm.  We started with some easy: What is love? (baby, don't hurt me...sorry I couldn't resist).  The answers of respect, putting another first, etc. came but we wanted something a little more tangible than that.

We came up with a few litmus tests to determine when you're in love (thanks to all the contributors!):

Love is when you let them eat the last piece of cheesecake.

Love is when you don't want hang out with anyone else.

Love is when we're willing to give them a foot massage.

Love is when you let them choose the radio station, even if it's oldies.

Love is crossing international borders for them.

Love is when you can kiss them even if they have bad breath.

Love is when you let them DVR over your favorite show.

Love is when they go fishing with you even if they hate it.

Love is when you spill your spaghetti and it doesn't even matter.

Love is pretending not to be cold so she can have your jacket.

Love is pausing a video game to text her back.
